The old OST is in my blood at this point. After hearing FFX's music for upwards of 13 years, it's hard for me to hear new arrangements that are so structurally close to the original. Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster Final Fantasy X HD's Remastered Soundtrack You may notice an enhanced soundtrack when you play Final Fantasy X HD on PS3 and Vita. So far everything I have heard has either been "Damn, this song is pretty cool (from a novelty perspective)!", like the Besaid Island remix, or "This song doesn't seem necessary/isn't as enjoyable to me as the original". I've been interested in the remaster OST mostly from a curiosity standpoint, and have been posting what I've found since I figured some other people wanted to keep up with it, but I have similar feelings overall. Considering how long this is game was rumored to be in development (eons) and then how ALL the advertisements said 2013 until the REAL released date dropped I'd don't know why I even still want the thing. You know, I didn't want to take the wind out of anyone sails but am I the only one that doesn't see the point of changing any of the music in this game? I'm trying to not act like an ass about it but I was fine with the game just being a straight HD remaster with the International extras added on.
I haven't listened to almost any of it yet, anyone here have thoughts? There's been a lot of complaints about this from FFX fans.
